The future Captain America, Chris Evans, made an appearance at the Conde Nast Hot List Party held at the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas over the weekend. According to Popeater, the actor displayed a dexterity that might help him in his upcoming role as the Marvel Comics superhero. Once he came down the escalator to have his picture taken at the entrance, he simply turned on his heels and flew up the escalator again.
"He spun and sprinted back up the escalator, bounding would be a better description," says the observer. "I'd call it an impressive exit, but he never entered."
A party source insists that Evans simply returned to his room service meal which had just arrived at his room.
Evans did return to the club long after his apparent meal and after the party had ended. Stars Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale and Kate Beckinsale had long left the VIP area. "He lost of track of time," says the source.
No worries, Captain America made the best of the situation and partied late into the night at the club.
